Refining, not renovating - Kitchen edition 🤎 When I built my home it was the era of all things boho so my style leaned in that direction. Islands were either black, blue or green and this sage felt like the perfect soft statement for the kitchen. Fast forward 7 years and both trends and my style has changed. I wanted to update the kitchen but wasn’t ready to demo perfectly good cabinets, so I did some research and found @spraynetatlantic , a team that professionally paints cabinets, doors and siding! After a quick consult I knew it was the perfect choice and such a great way to get the update I was looking for without a big budget or a big renovation. Sage green island - you had your moment & served me well but it’s time for a change 🤎 any guesses on which colour I chose?

Another easy weeknight dinner because life is complicated enough, we don’t need complicated recipes 🤎 the dressing for this one is 👌🏻 1/4 cup olive oil, a handful of chopped cilantro, the juice of 2 limes, 1/2 cup of honey, 2 cloves of garlic minced, salt & pepper to taste. You’ll want to use it on everything + it’s even better as left overs (just leave some fresh avocado to too when serving! )

This room has been on my mind for a while and I am so excited to finally tackle it! Designing a room takes the perfect balance of aesthetics and function and when you consider both together, you get a room that is warm, inviting and actually conducive to a great night’s sleep.
Everything came together so easily with @sleepcountrycan from the bed to the bedding , which made creating that balance feel effortless.
It finally feels like the guest room it deserves to be!
