Thank you O8lifestyle for gifting us with these perfectly packable rain jackets!

We were so blessed this past weekend with a mild, balmy winter day that had all the snow melting and everyone ditching their big parkas.  It was the perfect time to take our O8lifestyle jackets for a spin!  Plus who doesn’t love an excuse to play in the left-over snow?

I love supporting Canadian companies.  When I stumbled across the O8lifestyle page I just knew I had to try one of their jackets.  They caught my eye because it is always rainy here on the east coast.  Having a rain jacket that I can keep in my purse or car because it is so lightweight and easy to fold is perfect!

I was really impressed when they arrived! The seams and zippers are lined to make them fully waterproof and they really are so lightweight. We usually go down south on vacation once a year and I always kick myself for not bringing a light rain jacket or wind breaker for those cooler damp days.  This one will be the perfect piece to pack since it wont take up much room in my bag. (Plus you can shop for the whole family at the same time!)

One thing to note is that the sleeves on the full zip jacket re on the shorter side (you can see it on their models.)  The half zip looks to have longer sleeves so if you are tall or have longer arms I would size up or even try the half zip to get the length you need.  Because this won’t be a cold weather jacket for me, I don’t mind the sleeve length.   I sized up for Harper – because they always grow way too fast!  The 6Y will give her tons of room to grow and to layer sweaters underneath.
