I always talk about versatility but it really is important! It is the best way to add function and style to your wardrobe without spending a fortune and having an overflow of pieces. Spring here in East Coast Canada can still be a bit cool so layering is key. A denim jacket goes a long way to keep you cozy and add some cute style.
Stylish Athleisure
You know I will find an excuse to wear yoga pants with anything, right? Whether you are hitting the gym or just rocking your leggings because they are oh-so-comfy (no judgement here!) throw on your denim jacket for a polished look that will have you looking more stylish and less gym-like in seconds!
Saturday Coffee Date
Because I work in a clinic setting and dress code is pretty plain, I love taking advantage of the weekends to dress up and feel cute. Sunny Saturdays just call for coffee dates and browsing the garden centres for more plants (that my husband tells me we don’t need). A cute breezy, but easy to throw together outfit is a win for the weekends! Cute but comfy is what I like to call this style!
Mom-iform
When I am running from dance class to gymnastics class and then to the grocery store all while trying to tame a 3 yr old with snacks and outfit changes, I need something I can move in. A denim jacket is such as easy way to turn this boring ol’ outfit into something with a bit of style. Denim on denim can be more chic and less country singer if you pair it with feminine details. Grab a great bag and no one will ever notice that peanut butter stain on your shirt (because, mamas, how do they always get there?)
