The snow has finally melted and I am ignoring the fact that it is supposed to rain for the next week because at least it means that spring is here! Those sunny days are such a treat after all the cold and snow winter brings. A sunny weekend gets me excited to run all the errands, to clean all the closets and to just get outside without my bulky jacket.

Weekends as a mom are always busy. This weekend was spent running errands all day Saturday, going to a dinner party, a coffee with a friend and a birthday party. I want to be comfortable when running around town but I don’t want to sacrifice style. I just feel better about myself when I love my outfit and am put together.

Let’s face it, mom or not, an easy casual outfit is a must for those weekends. Jeans are my go to and I am happiest when I can pair them with a comfy tshirt and sweater. I always carry a layering piece with me because you never know how cool the wind will get. This field jacket is so great for spring and looks super cute tied around your waist.
