Paperbag Shorts

I have never been one for shorts in the summer…until this year! Wide leg, paperbag waist shorts? I am here for it and loving every bit of them! Paperbag shorts are the most comfortable and the most flattering pair of shorts I have ever put on. A bit dramatic? Maybe. But trust me when I say they are worth ALL the hype. So much so that I am sharing 3 ways to style them with you!

Paperbag shorts are such an easy way to add instant style to your outfit without sacrificing comfort. Because they are meant to be loose and flowy you don’t have to worry about them creeping up throughout the day and having your cheeks hanging out (tell me I am not the only one who has experienced this problem!)

Although these may not be a TRUE paperbag waist, I consider these shorts in the same grouping. They are a wide leg short just without the tie. I love how they can be worn casually! Plus they are under $15!

These are really similar with pockets, a flat front, and no tie waist. Don’t be afraid to mix print on print. I consider leopard or snake print to be a neutral and you can easily pair them with a graphic tee. Trust me when I tell you this cute outfit feels like you are wearing pyjamas!

Dress it up! Paperbag shorts can be worn from the office to date night. Because they are a looser fit like a trouser, picking a pair with a little more length can make them office appropriate with a simple pair of heels and a blazer.

Paperbag shorts are so flattering. They instantly make your legs look longer and give you a defined waist with the cinched belt. Wear them casually with a tshirt, dressed up for a date night, to a festival with a boho hat and even into the fall with a long sleeve blouse for a chic but effortless look.
