One Look Two Ways – Work Wear

The days are longer and the abundance of daylight and sunshine have me wanting to do more than go home and take a nap after work! Is it just me or does hibernation feel like a real thing in the winter? With the warmer weather I love to get out after work and run errands, grab a latte with a friend or just do a little retail therapy. With my business casual work wear I love grabbing pieces that make my daily outfits more on-the-go casual for those moments. One easy outfit worn two ways for a perfect day to evening look.

I shared these pants a few weeks ago and still will shout their names from the roof top! There are stretchy, soft, pull on trousers. Need I say more? But seriously they make the best pants for your work wear wardrobe (try saying that 3 times fast!) allowing you to be comfortable yet professional. They come in a ton of color options to fit your wardrobe (these are the Nutmeg color).

**I have added some similar options for you if an RW&CO is not within your shopping reach!**

A crew neck tee is so versatile is is a MUST in every wardrobe. There is just something about a crisp white tee that gives you a clean and classic look. I am in love with this luxe line because they are so soft and stretchy. From every day casual to work wear, a classic tee is so versatile.

These two pieces are the base to any great wardrobe because they can be mixed and matched with so much to create endless outfits.

transitioning workwear to casual wear with a few easy steps

A simple tuck of the tee mixed with these high waisted pants makes the perfect polished look. Working in a clinic setting I can dress more business casual and keep my outfits simple. I love grabbing a fun pair of loafers or flats to add some spunk into my outfits. A pair of heels and a blazer would also be perfect for a more business professional office setting.

Because this outfit is pretty basic I like to use accessories to pump up the style. Statement earrings and a structured bag are the perfect fit!

My clinic setting is quite casual so I don’t dress up with a ton of jewelry. It is just not practical with what I do, however I think a great statement necklace would be perfect if you want more of a dressed up work wear outfit.

Workwear made casual

Make an easy transition from office to errands but grabbing a denim jacket. This is an essential layering pieces for the spring and summer! Paired with maxi dresses, leggings, and colored denim it is the perfect way to layer an outfit.

Untuck your tee and knot the front! Slip on sneakers add an instant casual vibe to this outfit. All white sneakers would be another cute option but they are on my shopping list, so for now these grey converse will do the trick!

You can keep the same accessories but I like any excuse to switch them up! Simple studs like these faux 1.5 ct diamonds and a layering necklace to add some style are perfect with a fun perforated tote bag.

one outfit styled two ways

Styling the same outfit multiple ways can be so simple. Use your shoes, layers and accessories to transform one look to another. Doing this not only lets you get creative with your wardrobe but lets you get the most wear out of your pieces!
