The hubs is out of town so I got to spend this past weekend just me & the babe. Although I may have needed more caffeine than usual, it was so much fun. Weekends can always be so full of running errands and doing housework, it was such a treat to just focus on spending time together, just the girls. We ran around town, had play dates, indulged in some treats and enjoyed some snuggles on the couch.
Every mom knows that comfort is key when chasing after your toddler. I wasn’t about to get all fancied up to make potty runs! But that doesn’t mean that we moms don’t care about looking good! I have learned to fill my closet with great staples that are easy and comfy to wear, like this laceup sweater c/o ShopPinkBlush. They have become my momiform and they make busy mom life so much easier.
When I first saw this sweater I was instantly in love with the cozy fleece lining and perfect loose fit. I mean, what more do you want in a sweatshirt?! I could just wear this everyday with leggings and slipper (I guess sneakers if I HAVE to leave the house!). But realistically, I do need to leave the house and don’t want to look like a hot mess mama.
It is wonderful how jeggings, a great statement earring and some cute booties can totally transform a simple cozy sweater. I instantly felt pulled together, but did not sacrifice my comfort!
When you invest in great staple pieces that you know fit your lifestyle, it makes you feel great! You will be so surprised at the versatility and wear you will get out of your wardrobe because the pieces just work for you. I like to look for pieces that are neutral and classic, but have a bit of detail that makes it stand out. The lace up tie on this sweater was the perfect touch!
Now please excuse me while I rock my momiform and go steep some more tea because “Daddy” won’t be home for another 4 days!

Side Note : I totally wish I had learned of PinkBlush earlier because they have the cutest trendy maternity clothing. But what I love about them is that they haven’t forgotten about us mamas!
