Bring back that pre-teen self because guys, overalls are back in style! I haven’t worn a pair of overalls since the 6th grade… And they were pink with flowers embroidered on them. (Seriously, why are 6th graders SO much cooler now and totally miss that awkward phase?) They are back in style and I’m not mad about it. So to embrace the cycle of fun trends I am showing you 3 ways to style overalls for fall!
I recently went to the opening of a Canadian retailer names Colori and could not leave without these gorgeous overalls. I mean, not only did they fit like a glove, but who can resist rose gold accents? Not I! If you follow me at all either here on the blog or on Instagram, you know that I tend to stay away from trends and stick with the basics. Not boring basics, but pieces that I know will be versatile in my wardrobe. Overalls are a bit of a stretch for me but I realised that they really are so versatile! There are so many ways to style overalls for fall!
I put together 3 different ways to wear them for you guys. Sweater weather is coming and these overalls look so darn cute with a cozy knit and booties. Or even a cute plaid shirt while apple picking at the orchard! My tip? Pair fitted overalls with slouchy sweaters, and loose boyfriend fit overalls with fitted sweaters. It it all about balance!
It is still sunny and warm here, so I wanted to show how these overalls can be styled while you transition your wardrobe. This combo was perfect for a Saturday of errand running! Light enough to stay cool and super comfy. You can always grab for a cardigan to use as a fun layer too.
Don’t think that overalls are just for casual weekends. You can totally dress them up for date night with a pair of pumps and a chic top. I opted for a chic black look with my sleeveless mock neck and bag. When the temperatures drop, a full turtleneck sweater would love so cute! This vegan leather bag from Pinkstix is the perfect pair to keep the outfit chic!

Oh my gosh those overalls are amazing on you. They fit you perfectly. I loooove the button detail too. I can’t say it’s my fave because I love them all but I really like them with the blush top and booties. Too cute <3 Jamie
