Is it just me, or are those men in your life always so difficult to buy for? I always struggle when it comes to buying my hubby something for Christmas, but over the years I have found some great products that I know he loves (even when he gets them over and over again!) so I am here to share them with you in this gift guide just for him.
What to get that hard to shop for man in your life? Follow this gift guide below!
1 – LUSH face and beard wash
Some men love their skin care products and others fight it. I don’t know why, but they just think it is silly. Well, I have one that fights it…that is until I bought him Kalamazoo! He really loves this all natural face wash because it doesn’t smell girly (and maybe it makes it more many being called “beard wash”). While your there, check out their Dirty hair paste – it is another one of his favs!
2 – Saxx underwear
I don’t have the parts to understand the love for Saxx, but I trust the hubs when he says they make all the difference. I know that I love nice undies, so why not show him some love and treat him to some as well! They have a mesh lining that keeps the good in place and apparently make them oh-so-comfy. Plus they come in a ton of fun prints and patterns.
3 – Portable Speaker
Whether he is cooking dinner, hanging out with the boys, or working in the garage, he can always have his music with him with a great portable speaker. I love this BOSE soundlink speaker. It is tiny but carries such great sound and links up through bluetooth to your ipod or phone.
4 – Shaving kit
Does your man travel for work? A great shaving kit / toiletry bag is a must have! I like to make sure it is big enough to keep all the essentials – those electric razors they have are always so big and can take up a lot of room. My hubby uses his on a daily basis and just keeps it on the countertop (which is ok with me if it contains the mess!)
5 – His Fav album on vinyl
Vinyl is back! If he doesn’t already have a record player, it is such a great gift. And if he does, grab him his fav album! We have a record player and my hubs loves to put on a record when we have company. It is actually so relaxing to listen to a whole album from start to finish without constantly trying to change the song (the one downside to digital music and the “skip” feature!) What I have learned since having records is that you really start to love the whole album vs just the big hits.
6 – Fun socks
Do I really need to say much about these? They are super cute, so fun, and a great way to spruce up those plain ol’ black socks.
7 – Watch
Men’s accessories are limited (vs our infinite choices of jewels) but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want to look good! Grab him a great statement piece with a JORD watch. I love the rich tones the wood gives to these pieces. Plus, JORD does engraving on their pieces – so you can make it extra special and personalize it! Your wedding date? A little love note? Your nickname? (ps, you can get 25% off with this link here!)
8 – Jerky
For some reason, guys LOVE beef jerky. I don’t really get it, but I won’t fight it! Grab him a bag of his fav jerky, or better yet, sign him up for the KRAVE jerky club and have jerky sent every month!
9 – Computer Bag
My hubby is always looking for a good work bag – one that can fit his computer, his papers, maybe even his lunch. He doesn’t work a job the requires a suit, so a fancy briefcase is too much for him, but a great casual messenger bag is just what he wants. I love Fossil for these because they have a great selection of materials, and even their canvas bags are tailored. This is another fav!
10 – Manly Lip Balm
It is winter and regardless of your gender, your lips get chapped! So many lip balms are in a cute tube or are pink and smell pretty. GREAT for us women, but not all men want to carry that around. Get him a lip balm that he will carry and use on the regular – like this one from Kiehls!
11 – Cozy Cardigan
I just picked this up this past weekend for the hubs and am so in love with it. He often looks at me funny when I suggest a cardigan but Roots just knows how to make them look masculine, cozy and tailored. He can wear this around the house on Christmas morning with pjs pants, out to the mall with jeans (to help you shop on boxing day, obviously!) or even to work with a great button up underneath.
I hope this gift guide is helpful in finding your perfect gift for him this holiday season! All these items are husband approved (by my man at least!) and are pieces he will absolutely love!

Thanks for this gift guide! I agree that guys are the hardest to buy for! I got my brother in law in the family secret santa this year and it’s so hard picking something for him!
Hope you are having a great start to the week and all your Christmas preparation is going well! I’m hoping to wrap some more presents today!
