Fall Shoe Must Haves

It is finally October so we can’t get mad when anyone uses the “F” word, right? I mean, at least where I live, you can just feel the FALL in the air. Even with years out of the student life I always feel like fall brings a new, fresh start. One that I often use as an excuse to overhaul my wardrobe, put away my shorts and summer dresses, and think about what I need to complete my wardrobe for the new season. The easiest place to start that allows you to transition your summer wardrobe to fall? Shoes! I am sharing my fall shoe haul and my must-have styles for the season.

The best shoes for fall

1 – Mules / Loafers

My husband may call these my Aladdin shoes, but I frankly love them. A simple closed toe shoe is what can take your same summer wardrobe and make it more fall appropriate. They are such a fun way to add pattern, texture and elegance into any outfit and I love when they have a pointed toe. Plus they are just easy to slip on & off that they make mom life a breeze when your running in and out of the house.

2 – Booties

Would it really be a fall shoe haul without booties? I am not about to wish for snow and big clunky boots but a slim, chic bootie will always have my heart. These two were so sweetly gifted by White Mountain Shoes and I am in love! * TIP * Make sure when you wear ankle booties that your pants don’t tuck into your booties. Cuff them or wear them cropped so that a bit of your ankle shows.

3 – Casual Kicks

If a sneaker has been around for over 100 years (since 1917 to be exact), they haven’t updated their style and they STILL are a hot seller, you know it it is a must have. Converse are my fav fall sneaker. They just add this effortless style to any outfit and make your casual look feel pulled together. Wear them with leggings and a cute athleisure look, with overalls, jeans and a sweater…honestly with anything! I love the shoreline style which makes the sneaker more of a slip-on.

4 – Heels

I love to invest in a pair or two of what I call “date night shoes”. The ones that you know you won’t wear every day but will have your back when you want a night out with the girls, a fancy dinner date, or just to dress up a bit! I found these block heels in this gorgeous burnt orange and just knew they would be my fun fall shoe. Because these are shoes you don’t wear often, go bold! Look for a fun colour or print that will just make any outfit pop!

This season gets me most excited for fashion. A great fall shoe will extend your summer wardrobe and have you loving your outfits when the cool weather hits. So put away those summer sandals and grab your fall booties and loafers! Grabbing for those fall sweaters while your at it? Check out how to style them so many ways here!

These are all beautiful shoes. I own all except for date night shoes. I don’t own a single pair of pumps! On another note, I did buy another casual kick. A white one has been on my list for awhile. I hope you had a good weekend and happy Monday!

Cute picks dear, can’t go wrong with any of these, especially the heels! Those shoes can easily elevate almost any outfits.
