Distressed denim is all the rage. It is in every magazine and every clothing store you walk in. Although it took me a while to jump on this trend, I am in love with it! When you first think of distressed denim you may imagine a very casual outfit. You can absolutely wear your ripped jeans with a basic tee and slip on sneakers but you can also dress them up!
I’m showing you my fav way to dress up your distressed denim!
Just because your jeans have holes in them doesn’t mean they can’t be worn out for date night (contrary to my father’s belief…If your reading this – Hey pops! I know, I am silly for buying jeans with holes already in them).
My 2 key pieces for changing those ripped jeans into a cute city chic look? A blazer and great shoes!
Weather you wear a button down shirt tucked in or a simple basic tee/tank, a blazer just adds instant class. I wore this outfit running errands last week with my mom and not only felt pulled together but also really comfy! I paired it with my go-to Luxe Tank, knotted to the side, some wedges from last season (I’ll link some cute options for this season!) and kept my jewels simple with a bangle, some sparkle studs and my engraved necklace.
There are so many level of distressing when it comes to jeans and you can dress up any one of them. Style tip : add heels and make sure to cuff your jeans to your ankle (you can ready my tips here) to give a more polished look.
