Cozy up in Plaid

There are a few things that are essential to fall : Apple Picking, booties, Pumpkin Spiced Lattes and Plaid.  Plaid is cute all year round, but as soon as I see it in the fall I get an instant feeling of cozy.  Maybe it is that so many pieces are meant to be cozy layers or oversized, or maybe it is the mix of bold and fun colours.  Either way, I am not mad about it being such a hot pattern for this season.

Plaid is the perfect wardrobe staple for fall

I’ve rounded up some of my fav pieces for the fall!  From flannel to blanket scarves, you can add a bit of it in the simplest ways. This is a look I wore on a casual Friday. A cozy flannel is easily dressed up with booties and a simple tuck.  But I also love wearing plaid as a layer in a super casual way like in this post HERE.  You can even pair it with cute trousers and black pumps for a more business take on it!

However you want to wear it, plaid is a wardrobe essential and a staple.  It is a pattern that will always be in style and one that is so versatile, so don’t shy away from it!  I am always drawn to the fun, bold red patterns but it can be found in almost any colour combination.

Nothing says Fall like plaid especially a red or yellow colored one. It’s definitely a closet staple and one that can stand the test of time. Right now, I am obsessed with animal and camo prints!
