September is here and the kids have gone back to school.  I may not be going back to school but I am going back to basics with my wardrobe.  Those scorching hot days have gone and I am ready to transition my wardrobe from summer to fall.

It is still warm during the days here, so full on sweaters, boots and blanket scarves are not in the cards quite yet (but when they are, here is a fun post about my fav ways to tie that cute blanket scarf!).  Instead I am going back to the basics of layering.  A simple tee or tank, jeans & a cardi are the perfect go-to for the start of fall.  Enough to keep you cozy in the crisp mornings and cool evening.  Plus, who doesn’t like to feel like your wrapped up in a plush blanket?  That’s what this cardi c/o ShopTheMasonJar feels like.
