A tee that means SO much more

Ok You are probably so tired if hearing me say this, but you know my love for a graphic tee.  So when I met this mama and found out that she had her own online shop of graphic tees, I knew we were destined to be friends.

Ashleigh is a sweet mama who launched her business, Hudson Lillian Designs, in February 2017.  She used her wit, sass and her detest for fitting rooms and shopping to design and create these monochromatic tees (because who has time for toddlers in white?) for the whole family.
I mean, I think every mama deserves a cute tee that says she rocks! Seriously, momming ain’t easy and putting on a tank that praises my topknot mom hair and leggings is JUST what I need some mornings.

And, though she hasn’t made her debut yet, my sweet 2.5 yr old is the greatest thing that ever happened to me.  She has this charming personality, is so caring and charismatic, but is also a toddler…with A LOT of attitude.  So why not embrace it with the cutest tee just for her?

What struck me SO much more about this amazing, hard working, kick ass mama?  She embraces real life and the struggles that us mamas go through.  After her own battle with postpartum depression and miscarriage, she was shown so much love from her community.  She found her joy again.  I can’t help the tears as I write this part because I can relate SO much with her.  After my own pregnancy loss, I felt like I would never feel that joy in my life again.  This whole real life thing is hard and throws crazy curve balls our way and we are left to figure out how to swim our way back to shore.
Ashleigh took that pain and her new found joy and decided to make a stand for us women.  She created a tshirt in her collection called “After The Storm“.   Not only do the proceeds of this tshirt go towards an amazing project to empower women through pregnancy and infant loss, Ashleigh shares her story and the stories of other moms on her blog to help break the silence and stigma around maternal health.
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss awareness month and brings a lot of emotions up for a lot of women.  To know that this special mama is there to support and hear each of our stories is so amazing.  I couldn’t have met her at a more perfect time and am honoured to share her wonderful products with you this month.

I am so proud to call this mama a friend and to share her business with you all! She deserves SO much love for using her business to support and encourage other women around the world.  Check out her blog and follow her on Instagram!

XO
