The weekend is almost here, but I still have 2 days left of this 5×5 style challenge and, although pieces are on heavy repeat, I am going to rock these outfits all week long! Remember this dress from Day 1 and Day 3? Well, we are back for Day 4 but to get through the cold weather I added tights. My original intention was to wear this with OTK boots or even just tall boots and tights, but unfortunately when I was hauling out my boots from last year I noticed that they are in need of an upgrade so instead I went with a monochromatic look and grabbed for my fav DSW booties to match my tights.
I was actually really excited that I kept this look until the end of the week because my ShopPinkBlush package arrived in the mail yesterday and had the perfect piece to complete this look. I love wearing layering pieces that match the length of my dress and this jacket does it perfectly. With ties at the waist you can cinch it in to give you a more fitted look – and did you sneak a peek at the hood? The cutest plaid! It is absolutely a jacket I will be layering with all season – right into spring! Be prepared to see this on repeat!
A utility jacket is such a great transitional piece in your wardrobe. I love the texture it gives with the buttons and pockets. It was enough to keep me warm on this chilly day and I know it will be such a great lightweight jacket to run errands with. With my toddler, pockets are so essential! Between extra gummies, wrappers, tissues or socks, I never know what I can carry around with her!
