It is the last outfit of the fall 5×5 style challenge and I saved this one for a casual date night out.  This cardi has gotten me through all week and I am happy to say that I loved each of my outfits and stuck to just the 5 pieces (except for that jacket when it was cool outside!)  I always have so much fun with these style challenges and it really helps me make the most of my wardrobe by being creative and mixing/matching pieces I may not often grab for.

Tonight is an easy outfit – a simple combo of jeans and a tank, but what I love is that the details make it anything but simple.  This keyhole/cutout tank is so cute and so comfy! From one of my FAV Canadian boutiques QueCuteBoutique, this is the perfect date night piece.  It is so easy to throw on with its twisted hem, but adds a great “date night” vibe with its low vneck cut.  I paired it with a bralette so that if the shirt twisted I was’t left too exposed!  In the summertime I would wear this alone, but since it is frosty outside, my long cardi was the perfect match.

Date nights have changed since becoming a mom and are not always late nights out or anything fancy, but a red cup latte will do the trick!
