It is my fav season for accessories! When that crisp fall air hits my blanket scarf collection comes out. Fall is such a fun time to add a pop of colour or pattern to your outfit as the cool weather allows you to layer up. In case you are new around here and missed my post last year on how to tie a blanket scarf, I thought I would recap my 3 fav ways to wear the best accessory this fall.

1 – The Everyday Wrap

This is my go-to blanket scarf style and the one I wear the most. It can be easily adjusted to fit any body shape or size with a couple tucks and folds.

Start off by folding your scarf in a triangle. Grab the two long ends and tie them around you like a bib. Pull the ends to the front and adjust the scarf until it fits snug. I like to take the two ends and tuck them under the from bib (you can even tie them together so they stay in place).

** Are you shorter or find blanket scarfs overwhelm your small frame? Try folding the scarf! When you have it in a triangle, holding the two long ends, fold or roll the scarf to make it shorter, leaving you with less material dangling down in front **

2 – The Breezy Blanket

This time of year is the hardest to dress because the temperatures fluctuate so much. I often use my blanket scarf like, well, a blanket! On a chilly patio evening, it makes the perfect shawl when you wrap it around your shoulders and tuck it behind you!

** You could also tie the ends of the scarf to make it stay like an actual shawl if you are walking around!**

3 – The Easy Infinity

This is a great option for those who find the bulk of a blanket scarf too much but love the prints and patterns. Again, fold the scarf into a triangle and hold the long ends. Tie them together to create one big circle of material. Get wrapping! Keeping the tie behind your neck, wrap the scarf around you and adjust to how you like it.
